Everything That Makes a Luxury Kitchen

Cabinet Accessories & Interior Fittings

Blum and Hettich drawer systems, lift mechanisms, corner pull-outs, lighting, and interior organization — the hidden engineering that separates cabinetry from furniture-grade cabinetry.

The Inside Story

The difference between a cabinet and an iKitchen is what's inside.

Anyone can build a box with a door on it. What you feel every day — the drawer that glides shut on its own, the corner that brings its contents to you, the pantry that pulls out into the light — comes from what's engineered inside. That interior hardware is where luxury cabinetry is actually decided.

iKitchen builds on two of the world's finest motion-hardware platforms: Blum of Austria and Hettich of Germany. Both companies have spent decades perfecting how a drawer opens, how a door closes, and how weight moves on a runner — and both cycle-test their mechanisms for a lifetime of daily use. We specify them side by side, choosing the right system for each cabinet rather than forcing one catalog onto every project.

Just as important: every accessory on this page is available on every iKitchen project — semi-custom or fully custom, a single vanity or a whole-home package. There is no "premium tier" you have to unlock. If a LeMans corner pull-out or an illuminated drawer belongs in your kitchen, your walk-in closet, or your laundry room, your designer simply draws it in.

01 · Drawer Systems

Drawer systems: the heart of the kitchen.

You will open a kitchen drawer roughly 40 times a day. That is why we spend more time specifying drawer systems than any other component — matching side profile, height, load rating, and motion technology to what each drawer will actually hold, from teaspoons to cast iron.

Blum LEGRABOX

Blum's flagship box system: slim 12.8 mm steel sides that run dead straight with a feather-light glide, in heights from low cutlery drawers to deep pot drawers. Load ratings of 40 kg and 70 kg mean a full drawer of dishes closes as softly as an empty one. Finishes include silk white, orion grey, terra black, and stainless — or a fully integrated wood-and-glass interior.

Available in: Kitchens · Vanities · Closets · Built-Ins

Blum TANDEMBOX antaro

The proven workhorse of premium European kitchens: a clean, rectilinear steel drawer with optional gallery rails or a design element in glass for tall sides. Full extension as standard, Blumotion soft-close built into the runner, and decades of field history behind it. An excellent specification where budget is watched but quality is not negotiable.

Available in: Kitchens · Vanities · Laundry · Commercial

Blum MOVENTO & TANDEM Runners

For solid-wood drawers — walnut, oak, dovetailed — the box is ours and the motion is Blum's. MOVENTO and TANDEM concealed undermount runners disappear entirely beneath the drawer, deliver full extension with four-dimensional adjustment, and carry 40–70 kg with a synchronized, whisper-quiet feed. The choice for furniture-grade interiors.

Available in: Kitchens · Closets · Built-Ins · Vanities

Hettich AvanTech YOU

Hettich's design-forward platform, built around a 13 mm slim profile with no visible screws or cover caps anywhere. Side profiles can be customized — anodized aluminum, glass inlays, even signature colors — and an optional LED light strip illuminates the drawer interior from the profile itself. Drawers become part of the design language, not just storage.

Available in: Kitchens · Closets · Vanities · Wall Units

Hettich ArciTech

A high-capacity architecture with one platform logic: a single runner family covers everything from shallow interior drawers to 300 mm-deep pot drawers at up to 80 kg. Prism-shaped steel sides give exceptional lateral stability, so even wide pan drawers under a cooktop stay silent and square for decades.

Available in: Kitchens · Commercial · Laundry · Built-Ins

Hettich Quadro Runners

Hettich's concealed undermount runner for wood drawers, with full-extension travel, integrated Silent System soft-close, and the smooth, low-effort pull that comes from precision ball-bearing carriages. A natural pairing with our custom oak and walnut drawer boxes in closets and dressing rooms.

Available in: Closets · Kitchens · Vanities · Built-Ins

02 · Hinges & Motion Technology

Hinges & motion: how a door should feel.

A hinge is a fifty-cent part in a builder-grade cabinet and a precision instrument in ours. Opening angle, closing dampening, protrusion into the cabinet, and how the door behaves next to an appliance are all deliberate specification decisions your designer makes door by door.

Blum CLIP top BLUMOTION

The reference concealed hinge, with the soft-close damper integrated invisibly inside the hinge cup — no add-on blocks, nothing to see. Standard 110° opening for everyday doors, 155° zero-protrusion versions that swing the door completely clear of internal pull-outs, plus angled and blind-corner variants for complex geometry. Deactivate the dampening on small, light doors with a flick of a switch.

Available in: All cabinetry, every project

Blum AVENTOS Lift Systems

Wall cabinets that lift instead of swing: HF bi-fold for tall double fronts, HS up-and-over for large single fronts that glide up parallel to the cabinet, HK top for standard overheads, and compact HK-XS for small fronts. Every AVENTOS holds securely at any position, so an open door never hovers at forehead height or drifts closed on you.

Available in: Kitchens · Laundry · Built-Ins · Commercial

Hettich Sensys

Hettich's flagship hinge with the Silent System damper fully integrated, engineered to catch and cushion the door from an unusually wide closing angle so even a carelessly flung door settles softly. Available in opening-angle variants down to designs that work with an 8 mm gap — critical for handleless fronts and tight reveals — and in an obsidian black finish for dark interiors.

Available in: All cabinetry, every project

TIP-ON & Push-to-Open

Purely mechanical touch-to-open for handleless designs: press lightly on the front and the door or drawer springs open — no electricity, no handles interrupting a flush elevation. Available for hinged doors, drawers, and even AVENTOS lifts, with TIP-ON BLUMOTION combining touch-open and soft-close in one unit.

Available in: Handleless kitchens · Closets · Vanities

SERVO-DRIVE Electric Opening

Blum's electromechanical opening system: a fingertip touch — or a nudge of the hip when your hands are full — and the drawer or lift door opens itself. Indispensable on waste pull-outs, heavy pot drawers, and tall AVENTOS fronts, and quietly life-changing for accessible and aging-in-place kitchens.

Available in: Kitchens · Waste pull-outs · Overheads

Specialty & Angled Hinges

Corner cabinets, angled end panels, thick doors, aluminum-frame glass doors, and inset fronts each demand their own hinge geometry. We carry the full Blum and Hettich specialty ranges so the door always sits true to the design — never the other way around.

Available in: All cabinetry, every project
03 · Corner Solutions

Corner solutions: no dead space, ever.

The blind corner is where ordinary kitchens surrender storage. Ours don't. Modern corner mechanisms bring every last cubic inch out into the room, to you — no kneeling, no flashlight, no lost stockpot.

LeMans II Articulating Pull-Out

The gold standard for blind corners: kidney-shaped trays that swivel and glide fully out of the cabinet on an articulating arm — like the racing curve it's named for. Each German-engineered tray carries up to 25 kg of cookware, adjusts independently in height, and returns home with soft-close dampening.

Available in: Kitchens · Pantries

Magic Corner Pull-Outs

When the door opens, the front basket set swings out and the rear set slides forward into the opening — two full tiers of storage delivered from a blind corner in one motion. German-engineered chrome or flat-steel basket sets, with soft-close as standard.

Available in: Kitchens · Laundry

Carousel & Lazy Susan Sets

For true 90° corner cabinets, full-round and three-quarter-round carousels spin the entire corner's contents to the door line. We specify solid-base trays with raised edges rather than wire — small jars stand up, and nothing falls through.

Available in: Kitchens · Pantries · Built-Ins

Corner Drawer Systems

The boldest solution: drawers built on a 45° axis that pull diagonally out of the corner itself, stacking three or four deep. A striking architectural detail and arguably the most ergonomic corner storage there is — everything visible from above, nothing to reach behind.

04 · Pantry & Tall Unit Pull-Outs

Pantry pull-outs: the whole larder at arm's reach.

A tall cabinet with fixed shelves hides half of what it holds. A tall cabinet with the right pull-out shows you everything — both sides of every shelf — the moment you open it. This is the single upgrade our clients say changed how they cook.

Full-Height Larder Pull-Outs

The entire cabinet interior glides forward as one unit on heavy-duty, soft-closing runners, presenting every shelf from both sides at once. German-engineered frames carry 100–120 kg fully loaded, with adjustable solid-base shelves and anti-slip mats. Available in widths from a slim 150 mm spice tower beside the range to a full 600 mm larder.

Available in: Kitchens · Pantries · Butler's pantries

Swing-Out Pantry Frames

Door-mounted shelving swings out with the door while a second bank of pivoting frames follows it into the room, turning one tall cabinet into a small walk-in pantry. Nothing is deeper than one can of tomatoes, so nothing expires forgotten at the back.

Available in: Kitchens · Pantries

Internal Drawer Larders

Behind one clean pair of doors: a stack of full-extension internal drawers — Blum LEGRABOX or Hettich ArciTech — that keep heavy staples low and visible from above. The most ergonomic pantry format for deep storage, and our default recommendation for bakers and bulk shoppers.

Available in: Kitchens · Pantries · Laundry

Roll-Out Shelf Systems

Retrofit-friendly and endlessly flexible: individual shelves on full-extension, soft-closing runners that roll out one at a time. Ideal for base cabinets, appliance storage, and converting existing fixed-shelf cabinetry anywhere in the house.

Available in: All cabinetry, every project

Under-Counter Pull-Out Towers

Narrow base pull-outs — 150 to 300 mm — put oils, spices, cutting boards, and bottles exactly where you cook. Chrome, anthracite, or oak-trimmed frames on soft-close runners, often flanking the range in pairs for symmetry.

Available in: Kitchens · Bars · Vanities

Broom & Utility Pull-Outs

Tall, slim pull-outs engineered for the unglamorous essentials — brooms, vacuums, ironing supplies, cleaning caddies — with hooks, bins, and shelves on a full-extension frame. Every household needs one; almost no builder plans for it. We do.

Available in: Kitchens · Laundry · Mudrooms
05 · In-Drawer Organization

In-drawer organization: open a drawer, exhale.

The moment a client opens a finished iKitchen drawer for the first time is our favorite moment of any install. Solid wood inserts, cut in our own shop to your exact drawer dimensions and your exact inventory — not a plastic tray floating in a too-big drawer.

Solid Wood Cutlery Inserts

Walnut, oak, or maple inserts milled to the millimeter for your LEGRABOX or AvanTech drawers, with compartments planned around your actual flatware count. The wood is finished to match or deliberately contrast your cabinet interior — a detail guests always notice.

Available in: Kitchens · Butler's pantries

Knife Blocks & Spice Inserts

Angled in-drawer knife blocks keep edges protected and out of children's sightlines, while stepped spice inserts tilt every label toward you. Both free your counters of the two most cluttering objects in any kitchen: the knife block and the spice rack.

Available in: Kitchens

Plate Holders & Film Cutters

Adjustable-peg plate stacking holders let a deep drawer near the dishwasher hold full dinner service safely — unloading becomes a one-step task. Integrated foil and film cutters mount inside a shallow drawer, ending the wrestling match with the cardboard box forever.

Available in: Kitchens · Pantries

Deep-Drawer Partition Systems

Adjustable cross-dividers and lateral rails for pot drawers keep lids vertical, pans nested, and containers from sliding when a 70 kg drawer glides shut. Reconfigurable in seconds as your cookware changes.

Available in: Kitchens · Laundry · Closets

Felt-Lined Jewelry Inserts

In dressing rooms and walk-in closets, drawers become vitrines: felt-lined compartments for watches, rings, and eyewear, with optional lockable drawers and glass tops. Paired with in-drawer lighting, the effect is pure boutique.

Available in: Closets · Dressing rooms · Vanities

Charging Drawers

A shallow drawer with integrated power and cord management swallows every phone, tablet, and watch charger in the house. Devices charge out of sight — the single most requested accessory in our family kitchens, and a favorite in home offices.

Available in: Kitchens · Offices · Closets · Entries
06 · Waste & Recycling

Waste & recycling: handled, hidden, hygienic.

Nothing undermines a beautiful kitchen faster than a freestanding trash can. Built-in waste management is standard thinking on every iKitchen project — sized to your municipality's sorting streams and positioned in the cleanup zone where your hands already are.

Multi-Stream Bin Pull-Outs

Two, three, or four removable bins on a single full-extension, soft-closing pull-out — trash, recycling, compost, and returns each in their own container with sealing lids. Frames are steel with easy-clean bases, sized from 30 to over 60 liters of total capacity to match how your household actually sorts.

Available in: Kitchens · Butler's pantries · Bars

Servo-Assisted Openers

Pair the waste pull-out with Blum SERVO-DRIVE and it opens with a bump of the knee or hip — no hands, which is precisely what you want when both of them are covered in chicken. The pull-out then closes itself softly. Once you have lived with this, there is no going back.

Available in: Kitchens

Under-Sink Solutions

Purpose-built frames that work around plumbing: shallow bins, tiered shelves, and door-mounted caddies that reclaim the most awkward cabinet in the kitchen. Moisture-resistant bases protect the cabinet floor, and every component lifts out for cleaning.

Available in: Kitchens · Vanities · Laundry
07 · Lift & Overhead Systems

Lift & overhead: wall cabinets that get out of your way.

Swinging doors at head height are a design compromise we stopped accepting years ago. Lift systems move the front up and away, hold it wherever you leave it, and give upper cabinetry the same effortless motion as the drawers below.

Vertical Lift Doors

Large single fronts — Blum AVENTOS HS and equivalent Hettich systems — glide up and over the cabinet in one plane, keeping the ceiling line clean even mid-motion. Ideal for wide fronts above coffee stations and bars, where you want the whole interior open while you work.

Available in: Kitchens · Bars · Media walls

Bi-Fold Overheads

AVENTOS HF folds a tall front in half as it rises, so full-height upper cabinets open with minimal projection into the room — you can stand at the counter with the doors open and never touch them. Variable stop holds the front at any height, sized to your ceiling.

Available in: Kitchens · Laundry · Built-Ins

Glass-Front Overhead Systems

Aluminum-framed glass fronts — clear, fluted, bronze, or smoked — on HK and HK-XS lift fittings turn upper cabinets into display cases. Combined with in-cabinet lighting and glass shelves, they carry the eye upward and make a tall kitchen feel taller still.

Available in: Kitchens · Bars · Wall units · Commercial
08 · Cabinet & Closet Lighting

Lighting: cabinetry that responds to you.

Integrated lighting is jewelry for cabinetry — and it's functional first. We engineer channels, drivers, and sensors into the cabinet at the factory, so light appears exactly where tasks happen and wiring never appears anywhere at all.

LED Under-Cabinet Task Lighting

Continuous, recessed LED channels under the uppers wash the countertop in even, shadow-free light — no visible pucks, no hot spots, no dark seams between cabinets. High-CRI diodes render food and stone true to color, with warm-to-cool tuning and dimming to move from prep to evening.

Available in: Kitchens · Bars · Laundry · Offices

In-Drawer Sensor Lighting

Open the drawer and a slim LED strip inside wakes instantly, lighting the contents; close it and the light sleeps. Rechargeable sensor units need no wiring at all, while wired versions integrate with illuminated drawer systems like Hettich AvanTech YOU for a seamless glow line.

Available in: Kitchens · Closets · Vanities

Illuminated Glass Shelves

Edge-lit glass shelves carry light through their full depth, floating glassware and objects in a soft plane of light. In a dark-stained bar or a glass-front upper run, this is the detail that photographs — and the one guests ask about.

Available in: Bars · Wall units · Kitchens · Closets

Toe-Kick Lighting

A low ribbon of light at the plinth makes cabinetry appear to hover and doubles as the perfect nightlight — bright enough to pour a glass of water at 2 a.m., dim enough to wake no one. Often run on a motion sensor so it greets you as you enter.

Available in: Kitchens · Vanities · Closets · Media walls

Closet Hanging-Rail Lighting

Illuminated wardrobe rails cast light directly down through the clothes hanging from them — the difference between finding the navy blazer and grabbing the black one. Sensor-activated per section, so the closet lights as you move through it.

Available in: Walk-in closets · Dressing rooms · Entries

In-Cabinet & Pantry Lighting

Door-activated interior lights for pantries and deep cabinets, vertical light channels in tall units, and glass-case downlights in display cabinetry. Every fixture runs from concealed drivers we plan into the cabinet body — service access included, visible hardware excluded.

Available in: All cabinetry, every project
09 · Specialty Fittings

Specialty fittings: the details people remodel for.

Beyond the essentials lives a category of fittings that solve one specific problem perfectly. These are the accessories clients mention by name years later — and every one of them is available on any iKitchen project.

Appliance Garages with Pocket Doors

The toaster, espresso machine, and blender live at counter height behind doors that slide back into the cabinet — open, they disappear completely; closed, the counter is bare. With interior power and task lighting, it's a working station that vanishes on command.

Available in: Kitchens · Butler's pantries · Offices

Mixer & Appliance Lifts

A spring-assisted steel platform raises a stand mixer from the base cabinet to counter height and locks it there, rated for the full weight of a loaded machine. The mixer stays plugged in, bowl attached, ready — which is why it actually gets used.

Available in: Kitchens · Baking stations

Pull-Out Tables & Worktops

A full work surface that slides from beneath the counter and locks solid on folding steel supports — instant breakfast bar, extra prep station, or homework desk, then gone. Engineered for real loads, not just looks.

Available in: Kitchens · Offices · Laundry · Compact homes

Ironing Board Pull-Outs

A full-size ironing surface folds out of a drawer front, swivels to your working angle, and locks — then folds away into 150 mm of cabinet. Standard thinking in our laundry rooms and a quiet luxury in dressing rooms, steps from where the clothes hang.

Available in: Laundry · Closets · Dressing rooms

Pull-Down Closet Rods

Double-height hanging without a step stool: pull the handle and the entire upper rod swings down and forward to eye level on a gas-assisted arm, then glides back up. It effectively doubles the usable hanging capacity of a tall closet for every member of the household.

Available in: Walk-in closets · Reach-ins · Laundry

Shoe Racks, Trouser Racks & Hampers

Angled pull-out shoe shelves that display every pair toe-out, sliding trouser racks that hold twelve pairs crease-free on felt-lined arms, and tilt-out or pull-out hampers with removable canvas liners. Together they are the working core of a closet designed like our kitchens.

Available in: Closets · Dressing rooms · Mudrooms
How We Specify

Accessories are designed in — never bolted on.

On a builder-grade job, accessories are an afterthought squeezed into whatever cabinets exist. At iKitchen the process runs the other way: we learn how you live, then size the cabinetry around the fittings that serve it.

  1. Inventory, not guesswork. Your designer walks your current kitchen or closet with you — counting pans, bottles, hanging inches, shoe pairs — so every insert and pull-out is sized to what you actually own, with room to grow.
  2. Zone planning. Prep, cooking, cleanup, storage, and morning-routine zones each get their own hardware logic: waste at the sink, spices at the range, charging at the entry, jewelry where you dress.
  3. System selection. Blum or Hettich, drawer by drawer and door by door — matched for load, motion, gap geometry, and how each front meets its neighbors. You feel every option in our showrooms before you decide.
  4. Factory integration. Lighting channels, drivers, servo units, and inserts are built into the cabinetry during manufacturing in our own facility — then tuned door by door at installation and covered by our lifetime cabinetry warranty.

Explore how these fittings come together in a custom kitchen, a walk-in closet, or across our finishes and materials — or bring us the project you're already planning.
