From Crown Heights brownstones to Tribeca lofts to Hamptons summer houses — made-to-measure kitchens, closets, and built-ins from our showroom at 1200 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn.
Nothing about a New York home is standard. Brownstone parlor floors with eleven-foot ceilings and plaster crown. Pre-war co-ops with beamed ceilings, chases that appear out of nowhere, and floors that slope a full inch across the kitchen. Glassy new condos with column wraps in exactly the wrong place. Lofts with cast-iron columns and nothing square within fifty feet. Stock cabinetry — even expensive stock cabinetry — was never designed for any of it.
iKitchen Cabinetry was. We are a manufacturer, not a dealer: every kitchen, walk-in closet, vanity, and built-in is measured on site and made to your dimensions in our own facility, then scribed and fitted to your actual walls. Founded by interior designer Noam Perez over thirty years ago, we finish everything with Blum, Hettich, and Häfele hardware and back it with a lifetime warranty.
Our New York showroom sits at 1200 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights — on the doorstep of Brooklyn's brownstone belt, twenty minutes from Manhattan. Come in, feel the drawer glides, and talk through your renovation with a designer who has stood in a hundred kitchens like yours.
Renovating in New York is a logistics problem as much as a design problem — and we treat it that way. We prepare the drawings and insurance certificates your board's alteration agreement demands, build cabinetry in sections that fit a pre-war service elevator, schedule around summer-work rules on the Upper East Side, and install cleanly and quietly inside buildings where the neighbors are three feet away.
Design-wise, we move between the city's vocabularies fluently: painted Shaker with beaded inset for a Park Slope brownstone, fluted walnut and unlacquered brass for a Brooklyn Heights parlor kitchen, seamless handleless slab for a Williamsburg or Long Island City tower, and full-height storage walls that turn a compact galley into a kitchen that outperforms suburban rooms twice its size.
Beyond the five boroughs, we serve Great Neck and the Five Towns, Westchester, and the Hamptons — where a summer house kitchen and its outdoor counterpart in marine-grade aluminum can be designed as one project, by one maker.
Our designers and installation teams work throughout the New York area, including:

Brownstone, pre-war, loft, or new tower — built to the millimeter.

Custom vanities scaled to real New York bathrooms.
Libraries, media walls, window seats, and home offices.
Yes — it is half the job in New York. We prepare alteration agreement documentation, provide the insurance certificates boards require, book freight elevators, respect summer-work rules, and build cabinetry in sections sized to fit pre-war service elevators and stairwells.
Typically 10 to 14 weeks from design approval to installation, plus design time up front. Board approval timelines vary by building — we recommend starting the design and alteration package in parallel so production begins the moment your board signs off.
This is our specialty. Brownstones and pre-war buildings have no straight walls, no level floors, and no standard dimensions — which is why stock boxes never fit them well. Everything we build is measured on site and manufactured to the millimeter, scribed to your actual walls, moldings, and ceiling heights.
Yes — small-space engineering is where custom pays for itself. Full-height cabinetry to 10-foot pre-war ceilings, interior fittings from Blum and Häfele, appliance garages, pull-out pantries, and cabinetry built around radiators, soffits, and window returns that stock lines simply skip.
Yes. From our Brooklyn showroom we serve the full metro area — Great Neck, the Five Towns, and the North Shore, Westchester County, and summer homes out east in the Hamptons. See our New York state page for the full service area.
