Solid Colors collection
An electric ultramarine with real voltage to it — a colour to use once in a room, and to use properly.
Colours shown on screen are approximations and vary with your display. Final selection is confirmed against a physical sample.
Ultramarine is a pigment colour rather than a decorator colour, and it behaves accordingly: intense, slightly violet, unwilling to sit in the background. Set beside light woods or a nickel pull it produces the sort of 1970s contrast contemporary rooms have been circling back towards. ZENIT keeps it flat and graphic, our preference for a longer run; LUXE turns it into lacquered depth for one feature — an entry console, a powder-room vanity, the back of a drinks cabinet.
Two choices, not one. The design is what the surface looks like. The technology is how it is made and how it behaves — gloss, matt, supermatt, anti-fingerprint. Most designs run in several technologies, and choosing the right look with the wrong surface is the most common Alvic mistake we see. Pick the look, then pick the surface. Compare the surfaces
