Wood that has not been tidied up. Greyed brown with pale sand coming through gives it enough movement to pass for a real board, and the Highland knots keep it from looking printed. Because the design comes in SYNCRON and in SYNCRON Laminates, one drawing can carry door fronts, exposed cabinet sides and shelving with no visible break. Long island runs and full-height kitchen walls are where it earns its keep.
