Thirteen current textures across three tiers. The decor is the picture; the texture is what your hand actually meets — and it is the decision clients most often make from a photograph, which is the wrong way to make it. Below is what each one does in a real room, and which decors carry it.

The workhorse. Medium reflectivity — enough sheen to look finished, not enough to throw glare across an island. It is the texture that hides fingerprints and daily wear better than anything else in the Standard tier, which is why it ends up on rental cabinetry, laundry rooms and family kitchens where nobody is going to be polishing doors.

The newest matte in the Standard tier. Subtle texturing rather than dead flat, and it behaves on both solids and woodgrains — useful when a project runs one texture across a painted-look island and a wood-look perimeter.

Complex grain, low lustre, soft to the hand. Aura is strong on horizontals — it reads beautifully across a long run of drawer fronts where a glossier texture would show every reflection of a pot light.

A woven linen-fibre look. It softens a room in a way wood cannot, which makes it a quiet favourite for closet interiors, dressing rooms and the back panels of open shelving.

Mirror-like, and a specialty finish in the true sense — it will double the light in a small kitchen and show every smudge in a busy one. We specify it for bar backs, accent runs and clients who genuinely want the glamour.

Exclusive to Uniboard. A delicate layered woodgrain, finer than the synchronized textures — the choice when you want the grain to whisper rather than announce itself.

A fine micro-texture at low sheen, and the texture the Origins 2026–2027 collection is built on. It is the most versatile surface in the Signature tier: enough tooth to feel like a material, flat enough to sit under any lighting scheme without argument.

A linear 3D brushed relief. It pairs with the rustic decors, where the physical brushing gives the grain somewhere to go — the effect is closer to wire-brushed timber than to a printed panel.

Deep concave and convex relief, the most pronounced 3D in the range. It wants a tall surface to work across — a pantry wall or full-height doors, where the light can rake down it.

Smooth and dead matte. It plays with depth perception: an edge finished in Supermat reads further away than it is, which is exactly why a handleless slab kitchen in a dark Supermat looks like one solid volume rather than a set of doors.

Deep brushed wood with a matte-oiled hand and cathedral patterns. Synchronized, so the brushing follows the printed grain exactly — run your hand across it and the texture agrees with what you are looking at.

Italian-designed, and the deepest synchronized wood texture Uniboard presses. It is the closest a laminate gets to a real sawn face, and it holds up under close inspection in a way printed woodgrains do not.

Woodprint Duo — circular and linear oak patterns registered together. It gives a single door two grain behaviours, which is what stops a long oak-look run from reading as a repeat.

Omnia and Supermat® photograph almost identically and feel nothing alike. Bring your plans; we will put both in front of you.
Through the Integra® DST program, 130+ Uniboard decors cross-reference to equivalent edgebanding, vertical-grade HPL, 3D laminate mouldings and thermoplastic membrane from partner suppliers including Olon, Rehau, Surteco, Teknaform and Renolit. Uniboard does not manufacture edgebanding itself — the match is made through Integra, which is why we specify the pairing at design stage rather than discovering it at assembly.
