Black Oak and Ochre Apartment

Black joinery and oak veneer alternate through the apartment — black where storage should disappear, oak where a surface is touched or sat at. The rule is consistent enough that you stop noticing it, which is the aim.

The vanity is fluted oak, wall-hung, with the basin sitting on top rather than cut in, so the timber is uninterrupted.

The wardrobes are panelled rather than flat, a softer detail in the bedrooms than the hard-edged joinery in the living space.
