The pendants are a run of brass arcs over the island, and the island length was set to suit them rather than the other way round — which is worth doing when the lighting is the only decorative element in the room.
The bedhead is oak slats running the full width of the wall, so the bed can sit anywhere along it.
The kitchen is otherwise entirely white and handleless, with everything integrated.
