The kitchen is in-frame painted cabinetry with a solid timber worktop and a glazed dresser, detailed traditionally rather than as a modern kitchen wearing a traditional face.
Stone floors, iron chandeliers and a boarded ceiling do the rest. The restraint here is in not modernising anything.
