White and walnut through a double-height house, with a linear fireplace and a lattice stair balustrade.
Custom Kitchens · Built-Ins & Wall Units · Wall Paneling · Modern
The balustrade is a steel lattice rather than a solid panel or a run of verticals, which keeps the double-height space open and casts a pattern down the wall as the light moves.
Walnut appears as the island end panel, the media wall and the entry console, always as a solid element against white.
The fireplace is a long horizontal slot in a white wall with no mantel and no surround, which relies entirely on the plasterwork being straight.
